Eclipse

Since October 2003 i am a huge fan of Eclipse and i started to program some plugins in my spare time.

There are a number of subprojects for Eclipse. I am interested in most of them, but i do not have the time to investigate them all.

Below is a small list of plugins not part of the standard distribution, that i use regularly.

• Subclipse for using subversion within Eclipse.
• TeXlipse for using LaTeX.

• I wanted to investigate how to create a GEF editor from an EMF model. I created an EMF model for my family tree and then afterwards created a GEF viewer for it.
• During learning about EMF i wrote a tiny metadata editor and a rudimentary (POC) sql editor.
• For learning about CWM i transformed the CWM MOF model to EMF and generated a CWM/EMF editor.
